Pictures in TMLS
and REALTOR.com

As you know, you have
to size pictures properly for TMLS. They must be no more than 150K.
However, this is NOT true
with REALTOR.COMŽ. When adding pictures to your I-Lead listings, you can (and
should) send a large version. The I-Lead software will size the picture property
automatically.
If you pre-compress the
picture before sending it to REALTOR.COMŽ, it may be compressed again by the
system, causing a loss of detail. Let the I-Lead program do it for you. The
results will be much better with a one-step compression.
I store each picture on
my hard drive in two versions. The large version is called "Wilson1",
"Wilson2", etc. The MLS versions are stored as "635488_0",
"635488_1", etc.
SUMMARY:
When shooting with a digital
camera or scanning an existing photo/drawing, go for the high-resolution setting
and use it for flyers and on REALTOR.COMŽ. To re-size for TMLS, follow the
instructions on the sign-on screen. It's simple, once you have done it one
time.
The Technical Specifications
are:
MLS: 640 x 480 Pixels,
at 96 pixels/inch, sized downward as necessary to reach 150K.
REALTOR.COM:
Minimum of 330 x 220 pixels.
(Larger is better)
