Mary Edna Williams honored with REALTORŪ of the Year Award for 2004

Raleigh-Mary Edna Williams was honored with the REALTORŪ of the Year Award at the 2004 Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORSŪ(RRAR) Inaugural Ball on Friday night, January 7, 2005.  The award was presented to Mary Edna for her outstanding leadership and dedication to the RRAR and her community.

Mary Edna Williams was Rookie of the Year 18 years ago. One of the most visible members of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORSŪ, Mary Edna has proved to be an asset to the association and all that it stands for.  Currently, she is a Director of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORSŪ, and RPAC Trustee for Region 4. Also, she served as a Director on the National Association of REALTORSŪ Board of Directors. She is a founding member and Past Chairman of the Triangle Community Coalition and has served as an officer of the RRAR Top Producer Council. Active in politics at a very early age, Mary Edna serves on the legislative committee of the North Carolina Association of REALTORSŪ.   She also spoke before the Raleigh City Council against regulations that would hurt private property rights.  She is currently Broker/Owner of RE/Max Capital Realty.
    

Mary Edna holds CRS, ABR, GRI, CRB and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designations. She attributes her continued success to providing quality service to clients and customers, and treating her peers as she wishes to be treated.
