Raleigh's
Urban Renaissance Fuels More Change
Raleigh's
downtown - long viewed as largely a workday destination - has been undergoing
a significant change in its urban landscape in the past few years. It's
now drawing residents and newcomers alike and creating momentum for more
urban-based plans.
Locals in the know
point to several vehicles that have driven this change.
Raleigh native Carter
Worthy, owner of Carter Worthy Commercial Inc., has seen and been a part
of the urbanization. Her commercial brokerage firm specializes in site
selection, investment properties and adaptive reuse. Worthy recalls when
the committee she co-chaired, the Fayetteville Street Visioning Committee,
recommended to Raleigh City Council that the former pedestrian mall street
be reopened. In 2006, Fayetteville Street was alive once again.

Direct marketing is
an essential tool when it comes to managing your greatest challenges.

Etiquette
- A Lost Art
“Yo,”
the e-mail began. “Whaddya think?”
Was this from a teenager
or maybe an eccentric friend ? No, it was from another agent presenting
me his buyer's offer. Attached was the offer with no further explanations.
I sighed, Where are the manners in the world?” Read
